Exploraves is an Ecuador-based tour operator
that specializes of carrying out birding tours all over Ecuador. Our tours are
developing at the four regions, the Pacific Coast, Highlands, Amazon basin and
Galapagos Islands. Beginning from the north of the country while observing the
most spectacular succession of breathtaking landscapes, the more important
national parks and private reserves, in a matter of hours we will enjoy an
amazing variety of birds from the highest habitats at the snow capped volcanoes,
the lower ecosystems of dry forest until the endless amazon basin in the
tropical forest. Continuing towards the southwest part we will experienced the
unbelievable birds of the Mangrove Forest. More to the south in the provinces of
Azuay, el Oro, Loja and Zamora-Chinchipe we will visit, among other important
sites, the Podocarpus National Park where you will observe the richest plants
and animals diversity.

Pablo Andrade, an ornithologist with more
that 16 years experience leading ornithological tours in Southern Ecuador, is
the tour leader and manager of Exploraves.
Presently, Exploraves offers tours
that range from one to 15 days in length. We can custom make ornithological
tours to suite the travel wishes of our customers.
